The Tech Stack
Hi there, Reader!
Welcome to the first monthly issue of The Tech Stack! I'm so freaking excited you're here!
My goal with this newsletter is simply to connect with you every month. I want to share with you tech tips, some inspiration, things I recommend completing on a monthly basis to keep your business running smoothly, and of course, a little bit of fun!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I've enjoyed putting it together for you. 💜
I'd love to potentially add a Q+A section to the next newsletter. So if you have any questions about your tech stack (see what I did there? 😉), changing platforms, or the best tools to use, hit reply and send them over to me. I'll get back to you ASAP (so you're not waiting until next month) and your question may be featured in the next issue! 🎉
Okay I think that's enough chatter for now, let's get to the fun stuff!
This is my new monthly newsletter full of tech tips and support. If you prefer not to receive the monthly newsletter, but want to stay on my list for other special offers, please click here.

Monthly Quick Tip
Sharing Google Docs
When you share a Google Doc with your audience, whether in a course, membership, or as a freebie, make sure the link you give them is a copy link. This prevents you from getting tons of edit access requests and from someone making changes to the original document.
To make a copy link:
- Open the doc you want to share and click the Share button.
- Make sure the general settings are set to: Anyone with the link can view.
- Click the Copy Link button and paste the link somewhere you can edit it. i.e. a notes app or a Slack message draft. We just need to make a quick edit and then copy it again.
- Delete the end of the URL that says: edit?usp=sharing and replace it with copy
- The end of the URL will only have a /copy
- Copy the full URL to share with your audience! When they open the link, they will be prompted to make a copy of the file. Voila!

Things To Do This Month
I know as a solopreneur, it can sometimes be difficult to keep up with all the things on your own. So this month, I want you to focus on or check in on these 3 things to keep things running.
- Your email list sign up and welcome series. Take a few minutes one day to take a look at your sign up forms, are they current and accurate? Make sure the forms are sending out any freebie promised. And make sure your welcome series emails are sending. This would also be a good time, if you have time, to read through the welcome emails and make sure they are still relevant. It's easy to set those up and forget about them for a few years. 😅
- Your work with me page. What you need to do here may vary depending on your offers. But take some time to review your work with me or offers page and make sure everything is current. Update prices if needed, how do people contact you with questions, are the assets of your offers the same, are bonuses the same? Make any updates and get excited to share your new page!
- Financial tracking. This is less tech based but trust me, don't let this fall behind. Take some time every month (or even better, every week) to track your business finances. How much money came in, how much money went out, are there any outstanding payments, have you set aside enough for taxes. It's not super fun but you'll be glad you stayed on top of it! 🤑

Monthly Inspiration
"The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." ~Walt Disney
This is one of my favorite quotes. If you've been in my circle for any time at all, you know I am a HUGE Disney nerd so of course this is one that always stands out to me.
Its so easy for us to lay out all these plans for new offers and strategies, and everything else. But the bottom line is if we don't start taking action on those things, we'll be in the same place 3 months from now.
So sometimes we just have to remind ourselves to quit talking and begin doing.
We're almost half way through the year already (like WHAT?). What are you going to begin doing this month? Feel free to hit reply and let me know!

What I'm Enjoying
🎬 Mayor of Kingstown I've been meaning to watch this one for a while and finally started it this week. Warning: it's violent and graphic. Mayor of Kingstown is about a man just trying to keep the peace in a city that doesn't have much of it. You can catch season one on the Pluto app right now with ads, or watch all of it in Paramount+.
📚 I've got a few books going at the moment 🤣 I've been trying to get back into reading on a more regular basis so why not jump into 3 books at once!
- Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez - I just started this one but I'm super excited about it. It's goal is to help improve your relationship with money, which is something I'm always trying to do!
- Rich AF by Amanda Frances - I've read this one a few times now and I can't recommend it enough. Amanda is all about letting it be easy to have what we want in life.
- You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero - I've read this book a few times too and enjoy it every time. It also teaches you how to be mindful of your relationship with money so you can stop being afraid of letting it come in.
I think I might be seeing a pattern here! 🤣
🎵 I'm gonna go out on a limb with this last one (although if you know me, you already know this, ha!) and share that I cannot stop listening to (Yes, The Tortured Poets Department, but that's not what I'm going to say here) Hanson. Yes, that Hanson, that sang MmmBop 27 years ago. 27 years ago! They are still making music and killing it. If you want to reintroduce yourself to them (which I highly recommend) check out their album Anthem or Against the World. Then, let me know which song is your new fave!
