Can you believe August is almost over? Like, what the h-e-double-hockey-sticks happened to this year?!

Letter from Delana

Okay, maybe you're thinking "why is she sending this out on a Sunday evening? Like, that's the worst time to send out an email about work!"

Annnnnd, I hear ya.

But oh man so many things are happening over here lately, Reader! and I might be testing out different sending time to see what gets the best reception. or i might just be a little late writing this email this month. 🤫 or it might be a bit of both 😅 #justthefacts

I've been on a Stranger Things kick again lately. When are we going to get Season 5! 😩 That show is just too good.

Let's get into the fun stuff, shall we, Reader?

I've got a couple new goodies for ya!

You can grab them here.

Inside the Enchanted Tech Toolkit (because I love a good portal to house all the things) you'll find my two newest resources:

💌 ConvertKit Kickstart - your guide to making your move to ConvertKit easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

🖥️ Digital Product Guide (I haven't come up with a catchier name for this one yet 🤔 - taking suggestions!) - your guide to planning out your next...digital product! 🎉

The fun thing about the Enchanted Tech Toolkit is if you join using this special link, you'll also get access to new resources as they are added! 🙌🏻

Did I mention it's totally free? Cause it totally is! So go on and jump in there!

Ok time for some real talk. In the name of it finally being almost time for fall, we are well into the 2nd half of the year. Which is just 🤯 to me. And I don't know how this year has been for you, Reader, but it hasn't exactly gone how I pictured it when it was shiny and new and I was on my way to living in a new state.

(that seems like a damn lifetime ago)

But I'm here to tell you, there's still time here in Q3 to get the ball rolling for magic to happen in Q4, whatever that looks like to you.

So even if it feels like the year has been a bust so far, let's start right freaking now, to end 2024 better than we imagined it.

You with me?

Quick Tech Tip

Supercharge Your Email with Canned Responses

Tired of typing the same emails over and again? Create canned responses to save time and ensure consistent messaging.

Here's how:

  1. Identify common email templates: Look for emails you send frequently, like client inquiries, proposals, or project updates.
  2. Draft your templates: Write clear and concise email drafts covering essential points.
  3. Save as a draft: Most email platforms allow you to save emails as drafts. Give them descriptive names for easy access.
  4. Customize as needed: When sending an email, pull up the relevant draft and personalize it for the recipient.

Bonus tip: Use email automation tools for more complex sequences or to schedule emails in advance. My favorites are Dubsado for full client management and ConvertKit (Kit) for email marketing.

By creating canned responses, you'll boost efficiency, maintain consistency, and free up valuable time to focus on growing your business!

New on YouTube

You may have noticed I'm trying to revive my lil YouTube Channel. Lemme tell ya, its not an easy feat! I'd appreciate it so much if you'd pop over there to take a peek! If you do, please hit a thumbs up or even better, leave a comment so I can send some love back to ya! 💜

For the next few weeks we're diving into digital products!

7 Digital Products to Make Extra Money Every Month

Things To Do This Month

Monthly Back-End Check-In for Solopreneurs
Quick wins to keep your business running smoothly

Running a business can feel overwhelming, but small, consistent actions can make a big difference! Here are some quick tasks to implement this month and every month to stay on track:

Financial Focus

  • Review your finances: Take 15 minutes to reconcile your accounts, check your income and expenses, and ensure bills are paid on time.
  • Invoice check: Make sure all outstanding invoices have been sent and follow up on any overdue payments.

Business Operations

  • Software updates: Spend a few minutes checking for updates on your essential business software (accounting, CRM, email marketing, etc.). Keeping software up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security.
  • System check: Do a quick scan of your business systems. Is everything functioning as it should? Are there any areas that need improvement or attention?
  • Legal and compliance review: Allocate a few minutes to review any legal or compliance changes that might impact your business.

Business Growth

  • Goal evaluation: Take a moment to assess your monthly goals. Are you on track? What adjustments need to be made?

Even small steps taken consistently can lead to significant improvements in your business! ✨

What I'm Enjoying

📺 I mean honestly, I was glued to the Olympics this month. I'm just so in awe of some of these athletes. 🤯 Particularly the track and field and running events. Maybe because I'm signed up for a half marathon in November and am trying to get my training on track. 😅

🎶 I'm back in my The Tortured Poets Department Era! What can I say? It's a masterpiece.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Listening to sleep meditations all night has made a huge difference in projects coming my way. It's so weird how this works but I am here for it! Here is my favorite one by Amanda Frances.

I figured I’d take a shot at building something of my own. ✨ And I did — kind of. I had a few solid years, and then like a lot of folks, there was a boom in...
